The Nippon Beauty!

Over the last couple of weeks we've been exchanging emails with Nishiyan-San and despite the language barrier we were thankfully able to make this feature happen. As a matter of fact Nishiyan-San seemed very excited about it and sent us a few photos of his car that he took. According to Nishiayna-San, this bad boy started off as a Y33 Cedric though nowadays it's looking very much like a Y33 Gloria due to the front end conversion. It amazes us that just a few months ago we were randomly seeing this thing in event coverages and now we're friends with the owner and featuring his beautiful car on our site. Nishiyan-San is a regular StanceNation visitor and he will be reading your comments so make sure to drop a comment below and let him know what you think of his ride.

Right off the start we feel it's important to know that this Nissan is sitting static on a set of K-Break coilovers with 24k spring rate all around. One of the things we like a lot about Nishiyan is that he was able to find a "median" and apply it. Nowadays Japanese VIP sedans tend to either play it safe with the camber and fitment and keep it simple or go extreme and run -20 degrees of camber and radius the crap out of their fenders. We know that this may be "too much" negative camber for some of you but check out our previous Oni-camber posts and you'll change your mind. Check out the fitment in these pics!

The car currently sits on SSR VF-1 wheels in 19x9.5 in the front and 19x10.5 in the rear with some ridiculously low offsets, -19 all around. Front tires are 215/35/19 while the rears are 235/35/19's! To give it that mind boggling posture Nishiyan-San radiused and widened all the fenders. 1cm wider up front with 5cm fender radiusing and 2cm wider in the rear with 7cm fender radiusing! As crazy as it sounds you could barely tell it though because it's done so well thanks to the guys from Garage Excellent! As always, please hit the Read More button below for more photos and let us know what you think in the comment box.

Exterior had quite a lot of work done to it actually but as mentioned before it's done extremely well. Front, side and rear features a custom K-break kit that was retrofitted and shortened. Shortened for obvious reasons, fender radiusing. Obviously it would hang so low that it would be impossible to move without tearing the kit off, though it still looks like that would happen! Little details make a pretty big difference to these guys so Nishiyan-San is running things like custom Mode Parfume fog lights, original Garage Excellent exhaust tips and more. We're also loving the Deep Peridot Mica Lexus GS460 paint that this thing is rocking. It almost has a "brown" look to it but when the sun shines the greens come out!

We gotta give it up to this man for building such a crazy car that managed to look so simple and clean! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did, don't forget to drop us a comment below and let us know if you want to see more of these fine Japanese Sedans. Also, if you have a car that you think is worthy of StanceNation please email us at snfeatures@gmail.com and don't forget to hit up our forums and become a fan of us on Facebook! AutoCon 2011 Photo Coverage // Part 1

AutoCon was definitely one of the most anticipated car shows for the west coast in the recent months. With over 4,000 attendees, 500 cars and well over 25 vendors, there was something for everyone. Stance, Track, Exotics, Drifters, you name it, it was there. We actually had a couple different photographers attend the event so we will break the coverage in 2 or even 3 different posts over the next few days. Today however we will take a look at Gabriel's photos in no particular order. If you want to see more make sure you click the Read More button below. Big shout out to everyone associated with this awesome event.

84 Base Motor Works Japan // Fresh VW MK2!

A couple of weeks ago our photographer Shota-San headed down to western district of Niigata, Japan to visit this awesome car shop that goes by the name of 84Base. They specialize in everything Euro, from simple maintenance work to more advanced motor & transmission work. We will be taking a look at one of their shop cars here in the next couple of days which they were more than happy to show off! One of the cars that was parked in front of the shop however was Takeshi-San's beautiful VW Golf MK2. Our photographer Shota-San didn't waste any time and got to work right away!

Photos By: Shota Mori exclusively for StanceNation.com

He had Takeshi-San move the car up the street to get some photos for us. Takeshi-San was more than happy about it since he is actually a fan and a friend of ours. His "Wolfsburg Edition" MK2 is extremely clean especially considering the fact that it's a couple of decades old. We love it!

It's all about the OEM looks to many VW owners and Takeshi-San is no exception. No crazy fender work, no flashy grill, none of that. Everything is pretty original and in great shape including the interior. Hit the Read More button below for about a dozen or so more photos!

A Classoc Nardi wheel with gold spokes, aftermarket CD player and a custom shift knob is pretty much all that this thing is rocking on the inside yet it looks incredible & fresh! When converted from kilometers, it's got about 134K miles as you can see by the photo below.

Gotta love the triple omoni gauges.

Nothing wrong with supporting others and showing love! Right?

Gotta love those freshly built aggressively fitted OZ Sport Wheels. Clean as hell, especially the gold plated bolts. Big ups to Takeshi-San for keeping it so classy!

As we said earlier, it's an extremely clean car all around and it's an honor to show it off on our site. We sure wish we had some specifications on those wheels, tires and coilovers but unfortunately Shota-San didn't get a chance to write that down. Not a problem though if you ask us, pictures speak for themselves.

The day ended with everyone having a great time outside the shop. We will be showing you more of that white MK1 as well as a couple of other cars that 84Base guys have worked on in the next couple of days so stay tuned. Arigato to these awesome gentleman and look out for some VIP madness up next!
