CCW x BMW E30

Chances are that most of you remember this car from our old feature of it last year. We happen to have some pictures that we didn't show you the first time and since you all loved it last time, why not show it off again? It's sitting on CCW LM20's w/brush clear centers in 17×9.5 front and 17×10.5 rears wrapped in 215/40 and 245/35 set of tires. Lastly, custom built Ground Control Coilovers finished the "stance" off.

Wide & Green

While the left coast may be holding the game down over the winter, right coast certainly brings the heat as spring comes around, especially the "Euro" crowd. One of our talented New Jersey photographers Ronaldo Stewart recently caught up with Marcos to get some pictures taken of the newly mounted BBS RS's on his daily driver. And yes, we know that Stance:Nation may not be as known out on the east coast but we definitely keep an eye out on you guys and have lots of respect for you. Let's take a closer look at Marcos incredibly clean 2006 GTI coming to us out of Hamilton, New Jersey.

Photos By: Ronaldo Stewart exclusively for StanceNation.com

Marcos purchased this relatively stock GTI back in '08 and got to work right away. At first he wanted to keep it pretty mellow looking, so he got a set of Mercedes AMG wheels and FK Highsport coilovers. As you probably figured by now, that didn't last long. Before you know it, Marcos was switching wheels left and right and even pieced up an air-ride kit when he got the itch to go lower. Right before H2O in '09, he picked up a set of RS's in a trade which were power coated black and silver, and has since not only polished the wheels but he took his 1.5" rear lips and placed them in the front, and got a new set of 2" lips for the rears. Most of the stuff was done by Marcos himself, and we give him major kudos for that.

Green set of 17" BBS RS's 308, 309 with 1.5"R and 2"R polished lips (low 30's offset) wrapped in 205/45/17 all around sit perfectly on this GTI. Marcos finished them off with Racing Team Hoffman Gold hardware and Granny Smith Sparkle faces. Hit the Read More button below for a full spec list and a ton more awesome pictures that were taken just a couple of days ago.

Everyone knows that if you have a bagged VW and are not tucking the rear tires while your wheels poke past the fenders, your ish is weak, right? Well, not necessarily, but it is quite a sight isn't it? Check out the suspension spec list that Marcos pieced up together.

Airlift XL Front Struts
Airhouse II rears
Baak2Basics Rear Brackets
5 Gallon Slim Tank
8 ASCO Fast Electric Vavles
3/8 Lines all around
3/8 Fittings
3/8 Inline Flow Controls in Rear
AVS 7 button Switchbox (Polished)
Dual Viair 400c Compressors
SMC Metal Water trap

As with every clean VW we feature on our site here, the exterior of this particular one is just perfect as well. Marcos upgraded the front bumper to the OEM Golf GT front end and rear bumper to the OEM European GTI Rear bumper. He also got those side markers painted black to blend in with the rest of the car which in our opinion was a nice touch. Considering this car has well over 100K on it's odometer and has been Marcos daily driver for years now, it looks absolutely incredible!

As far as future plans go, Marcos says that he would love to mold a votex lip to the front bumper, mold the rear bumper, shave the sidemarkers and headlight washers, wrap the steering wheel in black alcantara, a big turbo kit, roll back the odometer 100K miles and a do a full re-spray. Quite a list we know, but we are very confident that sooner than later most, if not all of those things will come together. We can't thank Ronaldo and Marcos enough and we hope that all of our fans around the world realize that the east coast knows how to get down too! Make sure you hit our photographer Ronaldo Stewart up if you think your ride has what it takes to be on Stance:Nation!

Import Reactor 2011 Photo Coverage | Part 1

While the organization and parking may have not been the best this year, a ton of nice cars showed up to Import Reactor just a few days ago. People drove from several different states and many even flew in just to see some of the finest rides that Texas and the surrounding states have to offer. Two of our photographers also took a drive from Houston and Dallas and were able to get some pretty awesome coverage for you. We'll split this up into two pieces, first set of photos being from Robert Tran. Not much to say really, enjoy the pictures. Stick around for some awesome features coming out of Texas!

Remix Car Show x XDC Irwindale

We'll post up the "XDC" side of the event later on but for now here are some of the fine rides that came out to the Remix Car show down in Irwindale, CA. As you can see in the pictures, the quality of the cars was relatively good. Austin and his bagged Z that's sitting on VIP Modular wheels and Milt with his blue balled frog also came out to show off his static/dumped 350Z sitting on Garsons. Big thanks to Justin Muir from PureStreetPhoto for hooking us up with the shots, and stay tuned for some sideways actions.

Beat This!!

Ever since first finding out about this amazing S15 owned by Ming over at Fizz Autosports, we've had our eyes glued on it. Every couple of weeks we would run into a picture or two of it on the internet, but it was never enough to satisfy us. Everyone that has seen the car in person claims that these random shots don't do the car justice, and that it's begging for a proper photoshoot. That is where one of our incredibly talented photographers Javier Santiago stepped in. Just days before flying to Chicago, Javier hits us up and tells us that he is bringing his camera equipment with him! We then hit up Ming (owner of this S15), and before you know it Javier and Ming get in touch with each other! After running out of time the first night, they met up the next day and finished this epic shoot with some absolutely jaw dropping photos. Take a look below, but be sure you're seated!

Photos By: Javier Santiago exclusively for StanceNation.com

This is our very first S15 feature here on Stance:Nation and we can't express the honor and respect we have for it. Right off the start you'll notice the "Angelina Jolie" lips on those Weds wheels, the insane camber and the extremely fresh paint job that this S15 is rocking. You're looking at House of Kolor Blue Pearl paint to be exact which shines like no other! The exterior features a full Vertex Edge Widebody, Vertex Hood and Voltex Type 2 wing which right away changed this S15's presence. Another thing Ming added to the exterior were a set of Origin LED tail lamps for that clean & updated look.

We can't decide what we love the most about this beautiful S15, but it's wheels are definitely up towards the top. For those who are unfamiliar with them, they are Weds Kranze LXZ's in 19x10 (-20) up front and 19x12 (-32) in the rear. To give them the finishing touch, Ming threw on a set of Project Kics R40 Neo chrome lug nuts. For suspension, he went with the almighty HKS Hyper max coilovers and variety of other things that you can see by clicking the Read More button below.

Even with the stretched tires and widbody, Ming wasnt able to get those wheels to sit like he wanted them to without either pulling on the kit or adding some camber. As you can see, the choice was obvious and the S15 is now rocking both, the Cusco adjustable camber arms as well as their adjustable toe arms. To top things off, Ming went ahead and added Cusco front and rear strut bar. Let's just say that it's finished looks are far from boring. Scroll down for some more awesome shots!

Not only is the interior as clean as it gets, but the addition of things like the Bride Brix II seat, Bride fabric wrap on door card and Bride fabric wrap on rear seats really impressed us. Sometimes little things can really make the interior or even the whole car. Also on the inside are things such as Takata Harness, Custom suede headliner, Defi BF boost gauge, Defi BF EX temp gauge, BF oil temp gauge and Defi link control unit. Lastly, Blitz SBC i-color boost controller, Yashio Factory knob with shift boot and Cusco A-pillar bar were added which set the interior on fire!

Did someone say something about camber?

Wheel fitment is definitely on point as well.

Check out the finish on these beauties!

HKS FMIC, Trust full catback, Blitz Downpipe do the job for now.
Pop the hood and you'll be greeted with an engine that's cleaner than most of our interiors. As of the day of the shoot, the only additions were the ARC induction box, ARC BOV, ARC Titanium spark plug cover and Full CF radiator panel but that'll change very soon. Ming told us that the car won't be considered "complete" until he has a full Tomei Turbo setup under that aggressive Vertex hood.

Behind those long lips is quite a brake setup. Endless 4 pot calipers, Endless rotors and Endless stainless brake lines. Pretty amazing ride and we only hope to someday see it in person. As we said before, it truly is an honor to be sharing this ride with you and we can't thank Ming enough for the opportunity. We also want to thank our photographer Javier for doing such an incredible job at doing the car justice with these shots. We'll leave you with a good morning and one last shout out to everyone over at Fizz Autosport!
