Ready to play!

Earlier today we received an email from Raymond Leung linking us to a set of photos that he recently took of his freshly built EVO X. While we obviously love and always go for "form" over "function", we have lots of respect for those who put "function" before "form", and that is exactly what we have here. Raymond's EVO is quite aggressive, from it's aero pieces down to it's fitment. We'll throw the full list of specs midway through this post for you guys. He mounted on some Advan RG-D wheels in 19x10.5 (+25) all around and wrapped them in a set of Hankook 275/30 V12 tires. Also, he dropped it on Stance GR+ 2-Way coilovers and added Cusco front and rear Strut Bar as well as a Whiteline Roll Center Alignment Kit to keep everything in check. The fellas at Touge Factory and TF Works played a huge roll with this build, so a big shout out to them! Honestly, the car sits perfectly. Just for the hell of it however, we would pay to see this beast slammed to the ground, StanceNation style!

SoCal G’s.

Unlike the couple of Aristo's (Lexus GS's stateside) we posted this morning, these two are right here from the states, Las Vegas Orange County area to be exact. We don't really know much about these bad ass rides, but the word is those Work VS xx's are currently for sale over on VIPStyleCars. Gotta say, Vegas is stepping their game up lately, from their cars and meets & even down to their crews!

Update: SoCal cars here, not Vegas. We apologize about that, though Vegas is still doing it big!

Chitown Z’s..

Tonight we have a pair of awesome Z's coming to us all the way from Chicago. They may not be the lowest, have the widest set of wheels or rock the lowest offsets, but they are done well. These particular rides may be "just right" to many of you out there, they certainly caught our attention. With the help of our good friend Juan Tamayo and an awesome photographer Jeremy Cliff, we're able to take a closer look at Eric's and Tanya's 350Z's. Click the Read More button below to check out some more pictures and take a closer look at their wheel fitment specficiations. Scroll down...

First we have Eric's white Z. It's a bit more on the aggressive side, but this is just the beginning. He is currently working on getting his new set of wheels mounted on that will blow many other Z's out the water! He is currently running on a set of Volk GTS' in 19x9.5 (-6) and 19x10.5 (-9). They're wrapped in 235/35 & 245/35 tires. Eric is running pretty low on Stance GR + PRO coilovers and has also added the SPC Camber Kit. Be on the lookout for more of this car on Stance:Nation very soon!

Up next we have Tanya in her custom painted Red Z. Notice the flakes? Her ride is sitting on Advan RGDII's in 19x9.5 (0) and 19x10.5 (2) wrapped in 225/40 & 245/40 tires. She is also rocking the Stance GR coilovers just not as low as Eric. Regardless, both of these cars are absolutely stunning! Take a look at the up close shot of Tanyas paint below. Pretty freaking sexy if you ask us....but who are we?

The 808 Era

We literally spent a good 30 minutes trying to think of a title for this feature when it hit us, The 808 Era! You've probably already noticed by now that Hawaii has been dominating this aggressive wheel fitment scene for the last few months with the help of guys such as Jonathan with his Honda S2000. Don't get us wrong, Hawaii has been holding the game down for quite some time, but we've saeen quite a surge of "well fitted" rides in these last few months. As much as you want to assume that Hawaii's roads are all flat and free of potholes, you're definitely wrong. It's all about choosing and knowing your roads, accepting the fact that sooner or later that front lip or bumper will be torn away, and lastly, having the cojonas. Corny? Maybe, but every Hawaiian will tell you the same thing.

Even though we ended up waiting a couple of weeks for Jonathan to get some fender work done and get his new wheels mounted, the wait was so worth it. We were honestly in awe when our photographer Emil sent us over a set of pics from the shoot. As good as the location, timing and pictures were, the car itself was just stunning. From the flawless Lexus IS green paint, down to it's damn near perfect wheel fitment. Little about that paint by the way, when Jonathan purchased this S2k a couple of years ago it was actually Silver. He painted the car himself, and we must compliment him on that.

As always, what we love seeing the most on all the cars that we feature is their fitment. Jonathan dropped his ride on a set of Skunk 2 coilovers and added the cusco x brace. He opted out of getting any camber kits as the camber he achieved from the extreme drop satisfied him. His wheel of choice were the polished set of VarrsToen ES 2.2.1's in 18x9.5 (+10) fronts and 18.x10.5 (+10) rears. He also mounted on 215/35/18 front and 225/35/18 rear tires as wellResults are just incredible, take a look for yourself and hit the Read More button below for more awesome pictures.

Other then the paint, most of the modifications to the exterior are pretty simple. Up front you're looking at the Mugen front lip that sits less than an inch off the ground. Both front and rear fenders were pulled, rears 3 inches and fronts 2 inches. One of the cleanest pulls we've seen in a while...

You'll notice in these pictures that on the inside you can see a pair of Bride Low Max seats with gradations Takata harness, and a Cusco 4pt roll bar. Under the hood Jonathan threw on the Comptech headers, RSR test pipe, AEM v2 cold air intake, Exedy clutch and a 13lb fly wheel. Pretty hot ride all around if you ask us! Must be nice driving around on those hot summer nights with the top down.

Check out a couple of these up close shots!

We would like to thank Jonathan for his time and the opportunity he gave us. Also, a huge thank you to Emil Corpuz for delivering some stunning photos! Jonathan also wanted to give a shout out to his girl Karen and baby Alina, as well as the crew at DentDoctors Hawaii for the help and support. Be on the lookout for more pictures of this S2K in a couple of weeks as Emil pretty much covered every inch of it! Make sure you shoot us an email if you think you have a ride worthy of being on our site! As always guys, we'll leave you with a couple more awesome photos and aloha!
