Oh dear Japan, if you only knew the love we have for you! As if all the slammed Hakosukas on Watanabes and Cimas rocking -20 degrees of camber wasn't enough, lately you've also been showing us just how well you can build German vehicles! But what exactly do you get when you mix Japanese and German? Thankfully we have just the car for you. Take this particular E46 that belongs to our good friend Naoki Matsumoto. For us it was love at first sight, though we wouldn't be surprised if it took some getting used to for a few of you.

What once started as just another 320i has completely been transformed into something "refreshing and unique". The most drastic change were those radiused an widened fenders you probably first noticed. 1.2 inches in the front and 2.4 inches in the rear of radiusing to be exact. With that came the space some aggressive wheels so Naoki mounted on a set of Work Equips in 18x9.5 (-12) with 215/35/18 up front and 18x10.5 (-12) with 225/35/18 rears. Stretching of tires and widening of fenders wasn't quite enough to clear those wheels so Naoki set the camber at -8 degrees all around and dropped the car on D2 Coilovers. Which reminds us, this was the same BMW that blew its transmission pan at the recent HF event at Fuji Speedway. Things like that are bound to happen when the lowest part of your car hangs just 0.8" off the ground.



Front bumper comes off of the M Sport Coupe E46 while the rear is completely original. Clean and relatively simple appearance even after all the work that was put into it, that's what we love about Japanese builds. Hardly ever do their cars look "tacky". Let's be honest here, we would have been happy with only one of these cars, but the fellas from Next Mod decided to bring out three of their cars! Before going further we gotta give props to these guys. We've featured plenty of cars that came out of their shop and from what we hear they're a bunch of great guys who do great business. For now though, let's take a closer look at these three beauties that our talented photographer Raymond Tran captured. We don't do this often, but when we do it we do it out of honor and respect. First up we'll take a much closer look at Peter's R35 GTR. Peter is the owner of Next Mod and as you can expect, his GTR is truly one of a kind. Don't worry, that big wing on the back is definitely here for a reason as you'll soon find out. We're talking HKS GT570 upgrade kit and 21x13 rear wheels with ‎375/20/21 tire. We were in just as much awe when we first read those numbers as you may be right about now. We have about a dozen beautiful photos of this beast for you below.



This stunning S2000 is definitely a head turner. It belongs to Brian from Advance Powerhouse& Dyno and has quite a lot going for it. From the incredible AMUSE GT Widebody to a Custom (GT3076R) turbo kit. We'll take a closer look at it below so make sure you click the Read More button below.



Lastly, we'll take a look at this 2008 Honda Civic Si 4Door that has been transformed into an incredible machine. Just like the other 2 cars, this one is also a track junkie! Kevin spared no time swapping everything out from audio, to brakes, suspension, aero and of course plenty of "go-fast" mods under that hood. Where do we even start with this Godzilla? Having owned this beast for just 3 months, it's spec list is pretty impressive. The HKS GT570 upgrade kit consists of things like an all new 75mm Racing Extension Pipes, Racing Center Pipe, a fully polished aluminum Intercooler Pipe Kit, JDM Spec Pre-programmed EVC, Pressure Release Computer and much more. Peter is also running a GTHaus Meisterschaft 90mm exhaust which will make the hair on your back stand straight up.







The The VOLTEX Type 5 GT Wing sits about 5.5" wide on the back of that already wide rear end. Front end also features a Powerhouse Amuse Front Splitter which not only looks good but actually helps quite a lot with grips in corners as well as air flow to the brakes, thanks to it's underneath design.







Suspension wide, a set of KW Coilovers is all that it's rocking for now. That won't last long though we have a feeling. One of the most impressive things about this GTR are it's wheels. Peter not only wanted to push the envelope a bit, but he wanted to do it in style. That's where ADV1 comes into picture. They set Peter up with their ADV10 Deep concave wheels in 21x10.5 (+38) & 295/25/21 tires up front and 21x13 (+34) & 375/20/21 tires in the rear! That's plenty of contact patch, don't you say? He finished the wheel off with a set of Volk Racing Formula lugs which look absolutely beautiful might we add.







Up next we have Brian's amazing S2000. It's far from all the Honda's we usually share with you, but as you can see we definitely appreciate function. With things like custom turbo kit (GT3076R), Motec M400, APH spec drive by wire kit, GReddy intercooler and more, this bad boy begs to be driven hard every time the ignition keys are turned. The wheel fitment may not appear to be "aggressive", but it definitely is. The AMUSE GT Widebody sits wide over those RAYS Volkracing CE28NF wheels in 18x10.5 (+15) all around. Brian wrapped them up in Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R (265/35/18) tires and finished them off with a set of Project kics lug nuts. Simply beautiful.









We can't stop wondering just what your everyday people think they are looking at when Brian takes this bad boy out for a drive through Ontario. The AMUSE GT Widebody and APH spec VOLTEX rear wing definitely look like they belong in the latest Transforms sequel. When it came time for suspension, Ohlins DFV coilovers & Cusco sway bars (all around) went on, and Brian even upgraded to the APH spec AP racing big brake kit with Goodridge SS brake lines. Last but not least we have this beautiful FA5 which belongs to Kevin. It may not be the "craziest" out of the three, but it's spec list is by far the longest. As a matter of fact, it's spec list is so long that we'll have to break it down in several pieces for you. It's pretty obvious just how much this Civic means to Kevin. Even if you take the amount of money that was invested in this build, the hours and hours of work that was put into this thing is just mind blowing. It sits on a set of Advan Racing RGII wheels in 18×9 all around with 225/40/18 Yokohama tires. Everything from JDM head & tail lights, Mugen spoiler, Ings front bumper down to the Recaro Racing seat, Alcon 4 pistion caliper and Greddy Ti-C Cat-Back exhaust screams authentic & quality. Check out this sexy USDM inspired Honda Integra Type R all the way from Japan! It sits on a set of custom BBS LM wheels in 17x9 with 195/40/17 tires and features a classy Red Mica Crystal paint! Under the hood is a ITR 98 spec engine swap with a fully shaven engine bay & complete wire tuck! Not sure about you guys but it's been a few months since we last ran on such a clean Integra here in the states. Big shout out to Kazu for building such an awesome ride!

Oh how we love those who strive to be unique and aggressive but manage to never "cross that line". Let's face it, it's so easy to get out of control with extremely flashy wheel colors for example or even a wild camber setup. This is exactly the reason we love our friend Jeff's Infiniti G35 Coupe. It's got that look to it that'll make you say "holly sh*t!", really loud, all without anything that we would really call "flashy or extreme". He recently got in touch with his friend Dave Levitt who was kind enough to take a few shots of Jeff's car, just for us. "Watch and learn" as they like to say.

The Work Schwert SC5 rims Jeff is rocking are pretty rare in the G community, and we love it. They are 20x9.5 in the front with -25 offset after the addition of 20mm spacers and 20x10.5 in the rear with -22 offset after some 15mm spacers. They are wrapped in Hankook Ventus v12 tires, 225/30/20 up front and 245/30/20 in the rear. What sets the shoes off so well is what's behind those lovely rims. AP Racing 6 pot front brakes and 2 pot rears with 2 piece rotors and braided lines, finished off in that dark neon green! The camber sits at around -5 and -7 when aired out on Universal Air Suspension.



He spent quite a bit of time working on the suspension actually. The Universal Air Suspension kit has upgraded valves/lines and Dakota Digital monitoring system with digital readings. Jeff also upgraded to Tokico shocks with Battle Version camber links and SPC toe bolts for that perfect rim to fender fitment that you can see in the photos. We'll be honest with you, it's not the most original body kit setup out there, but we can see why so many G owners are loving this combo. The Inven front bumper with CF splitter, Impul Sideskirts & Ionic Carbon fiber diffuser just absolutely do wonders for these cars! Jeff took the extra step and added Custom Painted Headlights, Seibon Carbon fiber hood & Gialla front grille up front, Mastergrade 2 Carbon fiber trunk in the rear and of course a Black Roof Overlay! Another thing that we like about this G is that it's got a little bit of everything, everywhere. Exterior, interior & Motor. As a matter of fact, he is running a Motordyne Plenum spacer & Furookie Custom Intake (thanks to his buddy Randy). The sound that the combination of Megan test Pipes, JIC Y-pipe, Ultimate racing mid pipe & Greddy SP2 Axleback brings to your ears is just amazing.
