The Texas Trio

Check out these three sick rides that our friend Micah shot recently! They're representing the Lone Star State and doing it damn well. All three of these guys happen to be not only friends with each other but friends of ours also, so it's an honor to share these few photos with you. First up we have a couple photos of our friends Andee Phan Nissan 350Z. We featured his car last year though it looked completely different. Click Here to check that feature out.

Photos By: Nuns Photography exclusively for StanceNation.com

Everything from the kit, to the wheels, and the color of the car have changed. To be specific, the most noticeable changes are the Top secret rear diffuser, a set of somewhat unique set of wheels in this scene (Lusso Forged LFMX10i), and a Nismo front lip. The new wheels sit at 19x10 up front and 19x12 in the rear. Car is still equipped with the same suspension components as last time. Stance GR+ PRO coilovers combined with SPL camber/toe & last but not least Eibach sway bars in the front and rear.

And it's not just another "stanced" Z either, this bad boy is equipped with APS Extreme Twin Turbo putting down some serious power. Other mods include Kinetix SSV Intake Manifold, Wiseco Pistons, Eagle Rods, Competition Clutch & Flywheel & GTM 3″ True Dual Exhaust to name a few. Big ups to Andee yet again!

Up next we have a couple of photos of Tylers sick 240SX! He just recently got the car done and it's already for sale if we remember correctly. These S-Chassis really doesn't require "too much" work to pull of the aggressive look, so it only made sense for Taylor to keep it looking pretty OEM. Up front he is rocking a JDM front bumper & JDM front grill along with custom Acura TSX HID retro-fitted headlight setup with aftermarket fog lights & Seibon CF hood which was painted to match the car. Sides are from a kouki and "hips" are 50mm Chargespeed over fenders. Ridiculously aggressive, don't even get us started on that fitment..or rather do. Scroll down for some specs!

Tyler spent a ton of time tweaking his suspension and everything from SPL Rucas and tension/toe rods to strut and sway bars were replaced. His car is sitting on Fortune Auto coilovers with 9kg/7kg Swift springs. Last but not least the wheels are Work Equips sized in 18x11 up front with an offset of -7 and wrapped in 235/40/18 tires and 18x12 with an offset of -19 wrapped in 255/35/18 tires! Check out how wide those lips are in the photo above.

That brings us to Peters awesome Nissan 350Z. We've been talking to Peter for a few months now about a possible feature but things just didn't work out in the past. One of the things about his car that we love the most is all the under the hood mods. Hard to believe that we love "function" right? But we do. This thing is packing a Turbonetics 60-1/Stage V .77 A/R Turbocharger with DeatschWerks 600CC Injectors & Walbro 255 lph fuel pump and that's just the beginning. Full Nismo exhaust was also added and among other things. Check out the spec list below.

The exterior of the car is relatively simple, yet it screams for attention somehow. Peter had quite a bit of fender work done in the rear to fit the aggressive wheels he is currently running. Up front Peter is rocking the extremely low Aerosync front bumper. You gotta love seeing that huge intercooler behind it though.

So just how aggressive are those sexy SSR Vienna Dish EV's you ask? How does 19×10 with an offset of -13 & 19×12.5 with an offset of -1 sound? Just like Andee, Peter dropped the car on Stance GR+ coilovers and he also added some adjustable rear camber arms and toe bolts with extended hole. Not camber here, just massive step lips!

With that said, we would like to give a huge thank you to our friend Micah Nuns for the photos. We would have loved a few more but this should do...for now. If you guys are interested in seeing more of any of these cars make sure you drop a comment below. Last but not least, big thanks to Andee, Tyler & Peter!

Slammed Big Body.

Did the owner of this UCF30/LS430 really just put a set of Volk TE37's on a big bodied VIP sedan?! Indeed, he did. Why would anyone do that though, right? How about this, why not? In pursuit of standing out from the crowd people do all kinds of things. Some choose to push the limits with their fitment and body work while others go with flashy colors. There are also guys like our friend Syota from Japan who mixed the sporty/aggressive styling with a touch of high end "VIP" inspired styling. Syota-san didn't go as far as some of the Japanese guys do but he there is definitely a lot more stuff done to the car than meets the eye. Please allow us to introduce you to Syota and his beautiful Toyota Celsior.

Photos By: Hiroyuki Shiomi exclusively for StanceNation.com

Seeing how majority of the cars that come out of Japan nowadays are running serious negative camber and crazy fender work it's almost surprising to see one so "mild", for lack of better words. Though it's far from stock, Syota managed to keep the car looking clean as possible. The kit foe example, made by VLUSTYJEWEL, was slightly modified all around in order to stand every bit apart from other UCF30's rocking the same kit near him. Same goes for those fender vents up front, all one -off stuff.

Syota also decided to widen all the fenders some 2 centimeters to accommodate the aggressive set of wheels he is running, which bring us to specs. Those stunning Volk TE37's sit at 19x9.5 up front with an offset of 7 and 19x9.5 in the rear with an offset of -6. They are wrapped in 225/35/19 Nitto NT555 tires. The fitment is as good as it gets, especially in the rear where it looks like there is barely any clearance between the tire and fender. Just as you assumed, it does sit on coilovers and it is Syotas daily driver. The coilovers are bade by a company out of Japan called Final Konnexion and it sits on 20kg spring rate up front and 16kg in the rear.

Some of the other stuff that Syota replaced on the car are things like the smoked Wald LED tail lights and the custom painted headlights & blinkers. The exhaust is also one off on this bad boy. We're really loving those exhaust pipes!

Like we always do, we'll leave you with a few more photos and a huge shout out to not only Syota himself, but all of our awesome Japanese fans. If everything goes as planned we should be coming to your wonderful country very soon!

AF Imp Japan Photo Coverage // Part 1

How many of you are familiar with the AF Imp magazine from Japan? Well, every year they throw this "AF Imp Super Carnival" event that brings out some of the finest Euros from all over Japan. This year we had a couple of our photographers attending the event so we'll break the coverage in two different parts, but today we'll take a look at the photos that our newest photographer Takashi sent our way! You'll recognize a couple of cars from our previous features like this VW EOS above and the VW Scirocco few photos down. Drop a comment below and let us know what car you would like to see more of. Big shout out to AF Imp for putting together another huge and successful event.

T-1GP Japan // Photo Coverage

All of you camber loving VIP style fans out there will love this event. As many of you will be able to tell, it seems that about half of all cars that come to these VIP related events aren't really true VIP cars. A lot of things define a "true" VIP vehicle but -20 degrees of camber, flashy wheel colors or super aggressive body kits aren't it. These "GT-Style" sedans have pretty much overtaken the traditional VIP scene and there is no signs of slowing down. As a matter of fact it hasn't even come close to hitting it's peak. With that said, let's take a look at some of the photos that our friend Hanzawa sent over to us!

Steezy.

Is it just us or has the amount of properly fitted G35 Coupes gone way down in the last few months? For example, last year we had a new G on our site at least once a month, this year however it's very different. We're halfway in the year already and this is our first G feature if we remember correctly. This particular one is pretty special to us because it belongs to one of the Low N Slow guys who we happen to be so close to. We featured a few of their cars last month (click here) but never got to Noel's G35 however. What we learned about Low N Slow from those previous features was that they don't build their cars for shows or magazine covers. Most of their cars are very similar to ours, just slightly more of everything (lower, wider, etc). Let's take at what our friend Noel did to his Infiniti G35, shall we?

Photos By: Jon Tran exclusively for StanceNation.com

The exterior features a replica Nismo poly front end & Impul poly side skirts. They didn't bring the car down as much so Noel got himself a set of Stance GR+ coilovers. Having an overly aggressive set of wheels usually means that you're either going to have to do some body work or tweak your suspension some more. Noel chose to go with a pair of SPL rear camber arms along with Megan rear toe links and Megan UCA. The negative camber on this thing is just right especially from the rear end! Noel killed it!

One of the things that Noel took a slight risk with was those wheels and their finish. The Diamond Graphite color usually doesn't work too well with "colored" wheels but we honestly think he pulled it off. The good fellas at WheelFlip flipped and polished the barrels of those SSR MS1's, powder coated the faces Gloss White and painted the hardware Noble Gold. The results are stunning especially in person. As far as wheels go, they are as we mentioned SSR MS1 and are sized at 19×9.5 up front with an offset of -33 & 19×11 in the rear with an offset of -13. Noel wrapped the wheels in 215/35 & 255/35 rubber and got the car to sit exactly where he wanted.

By no means does Noel race the car but he certainly enjoys a few additional horses that he squeezed out of the stock G35 engine. At the moment, under the hood you'll find a true HKS dual exhaust with titanium tips, an FD swap to 3.54 gear differential with VLSD and custom grounding kit. Other then that, the few other things that he did under the hood include a Polished plenum, Polished throttle body and a Polished Injen CAI. Again, you're looking at a daily driven street car.

With that said, we'll end this feature with a huge shout out to the entire Low N Slow crew, especially Noel! Noel managed to create one of our favorite G's out there and more importantly he did it with minimal amount of mods. Well done sir, well done.

If you think your car has what it takes to be on our site make sure you email us at snfeatures@gmail.com.
