Auto Fashion 5th Annual VIP Festival Photo Coverage

Never believe the weatherman. When I was on my way down to the Autofashion VIP Festival in San Diego, CA, I saw that there was only a 20% chance of rain. LIES! I arrived and it was not pouring, but raining enough to turn a lot of people away. The turnout was not nearly as big as last year but decent, considering a lot of people are too scared to drive their cars in the rain. I showed up about an hour and a half after the meet had started and I’m sure I missed out on some cars that showed up on time and left due to the weather. However, I still managed to get a few shots of some gorgeous cars before I decided it was time to go somewhere warm and watch football! Enjoy the rather "short" coverage and if you don't see your cars I hope you understand why. Big ups to everyone at Auto Fashion for doing a great job!

Japan's take on USDM!

It's always a pleasure receiving complimenting messages and emails from our Japanese fans. Our friend (owner of this ride) Matuun is a huge fan of the "USDM" stance scene and when he emailed us a few photos that he recently took of his beautiful S2000 we we're truly in love! No way you would know or even assume that these photos were taken in the middle of Japan (besides the rear plate), and that to us is pretty cool. Without further adieu, check out the photos of this sexy drop top!

Now obviously Matuun decided to go the simple route. Other than the wheels and suspension, most of the car is relatively stock besides some aero accessories from Modulo and an exhaust by HKS. What this S2000 has going for it is that wheel fitment. A beautiful set of Work Meister wheels in 18x9 with 16 offset and 215/35/18 tire sits up front and 18x10 with 22 offset sits in the rear with 225/40/18 tires. Front fenders were (properly) pulled almost an inch while the rears were pulled about half an inch. Matuun slammed the ride on some Ohlins DFV coilovers and he upgraded the spring rates to 14/18kg. Not the lowest S2K you've seen probably but you gotta admit that it looks just right!

Interior features some custom paint and audio work, a set of Recaro RS-G seats and a Momo steering wheel. That about sums it up believe it or not. When we asked the owner what else he has planned for the car, he told us that he is looking into getting a more aggressive set of Volk TE37 wheels and a couple more degrees of camber. Negative camber of course! Huge, and we mean HUGE shout out to all of our Japanese fans! You guys are an inspiration to many of us and it is an absolute honor to be appreciated by those who you admire. As always, email us at StanceNation@gmail.com with pics of your rides and hit the Read More button for more awesome photos!

Simple Swedish Mugen!

Back in 2008, Japan decided it would be a good idea to do a limited run of Mugen Civic Si's. Only 1000 of them were shipped here to the states and today you're looking at number 748. What's even more amazing is that the car is currently in Sweden, Europe and as far as Jonas knows, it could very well be the only one out there. Jonas didn't want to do anything too crazy to the car, but he did drop it and mounted a set of pretty fancy wheels on. It now sits on BC Racing Coilovers and features a Buddyclub camber kit in the rear and Eibach camber bolts up front. Simple yet effective. Just the way we like it.

Fitment is pretty conservative as you can see. Apparently it's rocking some pretty crazy german wheels by the name of RH ALURAD. Can't say we've ever heard of them but they look pretty sleek. These wheels were made specifically for Euros with 5x112 bolt pattern so Jonas had to run some custom adapters to make them fit. As they sit, fronts are 18x9 with 31 offset while the rears are 18x9.5 with 25 offset all wrapped in 215/40/18 tires. Big shout out to Jonas and all our Swedish fans! Stylish Lexus!

As promised a few days ago, here is a closer look at the awesome Lexus SC that everyone is talking about. First and foremost, trailer is still in the making and will be on the ground pretty soon. Now that we have that out of the way how about we hit you with some specs and maybe more of Zach's future plans. Trailer honestly completes this car, especially the color matching wheels on the Ruckus. Zach plans on slamming the trailer, adding a touch of negative camber to it and of course a custom set of fenders over those flashy MB Battles. Enough about the trailer though, how about that dumped SC?!

This '94 SC300 sits low on Powered By Max coilover and rocks a Blitz Nur Spec R catback exhaust, though Zach tells us that there isn't much left of it due to all the scraping! It's also rocking one of our all time favorite wheels, the MB Battles. They are 18x9.5 all around (and we mean all 6 of them!) with +15 offset and 215/35/18 tires. Front end features a 92-94 front lip while the rear has a set of 94-96 tail lights. It's a really simple car as you can see, but we're willing to bet that it breaks more necks than just about anything out there . Make sure you check out the rolling shots below. We absolutely love everything about this thing!

So what does the future hold for this 19 year old owner? You'll love this, he is actually in the process of ordering a 1jz/r154 swap for the car which should hopefully be done right around Christmas. A crazy daily driver which he will also be able to track on the weekends. Make sure you hit the Read more button below to check out more photos. Big shout out to Mark for shooting this beauty for us, as well as the owner himself obviously.

Zachary would like to give a shout out to Fat Cat's, Keep it Sexy, Steady Rollin, Alex & Collin Williams and last but not least AK Garage Works. Be on the lookout for more of this car in the near future, it'll only get better!

If you're not familiar with them, this particular one is named "Pandora One" and it belongs to Mark Arcenal over from Fatlace. Our good friend Ryan Davis from the Yaer crew recently had a chance to briefly meet Mark and check out this masterpiece that Nakai created for him.
