Background:
It is natural for me that the daytime running light is activated and it is always ON during my European experience. In addition, some EU countries have the regulation to be the DRL ON with some fine (from late twentieth century, and also Canada.) to prevent from the vehicle accident mainly (off course it would be reflected by the sunshine duration, the regional thoughts, the climate).
On the other hand, the European vehicles imported originally cannot be activated due to limit of computer setting in the ECU program.
For my understanding, it should be changed to turn on of the DRL function to prevent from the accidents. (Currently some Lexus vehicles and some others are lighted of the DRL)
Fortunately Ich habe the official VCDS cable so that I can view the coding data and can also change the coding.

The coding change points would be totally different from for 7N1(-15MY) and 7N2(16MY).
Some vehicles have to change the Control units due to change the coding with wrong information (such as using 7N1). In that case, you have to pay the ECU and replacement costs by the responsibility that causes you mistake. It may be beyond 1.200,00 EURO。
So I frequently asked people in some Volkswagen and AUDI forums and the other people in the other SNSs day by day.
Consequently I find the speculative solution for 7N2 DRL activation coding.
Opinion :
I would like to insist again the DRL would be effective even in Japan fro decreasing the traffic accidents, especially dark time (early morning and evening) for people on foot and on bike.
