2C-TL Turbo Diesel Engine Rebuild - Part 3

CT20 turbocharger, 60 amp Denso alternator with vacuum pump, 2.5 kW Denso starter motor and power steering pump removed.

2C-TL diesel injection pump. Toyota part # 22100-6A020, Denso part # 096000-2430.

Oil pan and number 2 baffle plate cleaned and painted with primer.

Engine head with manifolds and valves removed. Exhaust ports are visible toward the bottom of the image.

Close-up view of the valvecover sealing surface. The rough looking area at the upper-center of the image was damaged by a previous owner, however no oil leaks since it is on the inner edge of the gasket surface.
