I'm not good at speaking English.
I can write reasonably well, but when it comes to speaking, I can't do it well.
This is all simple English, but I'm struggling to write it.
That's because I've forgotten the English vocabulary and grammar.
This is probably difficult for people from English-speaking countries to read.
It's just that I'm simply writing grammatically correct English.
The reason I decided to write this much English is because, for the first time in a long time, someone asked me in English where the station was on the street.
Forcing English on a purely Japanese person would just be a pain, so I'll leave it at that.

【日本語訳】
私は英語を話すことがそんなにも得意でない。
書くことはそれなりにはできるが、話すこととなると、とんとうまく話せなくなる。
これだけの簡単な英語だけれど、私は悩んで悩んで書いている。
なぜなら、簡単な英単語ですら忘れてしまっているし、簡単な文法も忘れてしまっているからだ。
おそらくは、英語圏の人からしたら読みにくい文章だろう。
ただ、文法的にあっている英語を書き連ねているに過ぎないからだ。
私がこれだけの英語を書いてみようと思ったのも、私が久しぶりに街で英語で駅の場所を尋ねられたからだ。
純日本人の人に英語を押し付けたところで、ただ苦痛なだけだろうから、今回はこのぐらいにしておこう。

ちなみに外人さんとはこんな会話だった。

Foreigner： Excuse me. Where is the Kanazawa Sta?
I:Put on this bus. This bus is going to go to the kanazawa station.
Foreigner： Thank you!
I:Any time!
