The old gasket was non-genuine & quite stiff (records show the transmission filter was replaced in 2019, so possible the pan gasket was reused?) either way, I think it's the culprut.
After draining approximately 5 liters of fluid from the transmission, the inner pan & magnets were cleaned & the new gasket in place for reinstallation.
Outside area cleaned as well as the transmission mating surface before refitting the pan again. I added blue loctite to all bolts before tightening them to 8-Nm in a crisscross pattern.
Next step will be adding the new fluid via the dipstick tube & repeating the drain/refill process until all old fluid has been flushed out.
Roughly 5.5 litres of new compatible fluid was then put back in. Whilst the manifold collectors were removed access to refill the fluid was much easier with a flexible oil funnel which fit inside of the dipstick tube.
