今宵は双子(♂♂18歳)が受験(今まさにシーズン)のため、心の邪気を払い、良い結果を得られるよう願いを込めて、参加しました(*^^)v

Bean throwing ceremony

Setsubun means 「division of seasons」 and this day was the end of winter according to the old Lunar Calendar.
People throw roasted soybeans inside and outside their houses with a cry of

　「Fuku wa uchi, Oni wa soto!」

meaning

　 「Good luck in! Devils out!」

It is believed that good luck is invited and bad luck is driven out as the beans are thrown.
It is also customary to eat as many roasted beans as one's age. It is a kind of charm against ill luck.

これで、邪気も祓えたことでしょう!!

終わった後はお掃除です。拾い集めて････
