ISC (Idling Stop Canceller) by Seabass to be installed, which makes the idling stop function change to not be activated at the engine start. The button can be operated to be on or off.

Type "B" for Volkswagen Polo (6C).

Remove navigation panal which doesn't use any bolt, from top yellow arrow positon. It better use special rig to remove trim.

The Navigation is fixed with four bolts. Need Torx tool.

The navigation is connected with thirteen harnesses. Remember the number at the recovery: Otherwise you may miss wiring.
And might use trim remival rig to remove some harnesses, especially to put on the clamp on the harness.


Remove the navigation with the bolts and the harnesses detached.

Remove four bolts on the navigation housing to remove the housing.

Next, four bolts to be removed ( yellow arrow pointed).

Note: the bolt head shape on the bottom is different from the others!!!


Then remove AC control unit with two harnesses on back side removed.

For my case, both two harnesses are very hard to remove. Used the rig to remove the harness since the rig can be inserted to narrow area and be put away a little.

Gear shift cover to be removed.

Make the clearance to be larger gradually using the rig.

No bolt.

Make the interior trim down and can remove the navigation housing.

P/N: 6R0 858 005

Then can access behind of the idling stop function botton.

Remove the harness in black (just reverse side of the button).

The harness is also hard to remove.

Can find the terminal number on the wiring harness end.


I made mistake to connect the different wirings. Then I found the number.


This connecter has three brown color wirings. Take care of mis-wiring.
