Battery Positive + Terminal Cover & Cleaning

The original battery terminal cover is made of black colored rubber and was starting to crack and harden, so I ordered the Toyota replacement.

Toyota part number 82821-24010. The new terminal cover boot is red in color.

I removed the 12mm locknut from the top of the positive terminal post in order to slide off the terminal cover boot. There was no corrosion on the wire terminals, but there was a lot of old, dirty silicone grease.

Installation and cleaning finished! The new positive terminal really stands out and accents the wire harness very well! ;)
