Urethane performance steering rack bushings made by Xcessive Manufacturing in Portland, Oregon, USA. These bushings have part numbers: T-MX-RB1 for the D-shaped bushing and T-MX-RB3 for the round bushing. The kit part number is T-MX-RB-K2.

This image shows the D-shaped bushing mounting bracket on the right side of the steering rack.

I removed the steering damper with bushing mounting bracket to remove the D-shaped bushing.

The original Toyota rubber bushing was completely worn out and torn. This caused the steering rack to slide left and right when turning the steering wheel. While driving on the highway, the steering wheel would not return to center and the car would "drift" left and right in the lane!

The new urethane bushing is a very tight fit over the rack! This image shows the bushing after fitting to the rack.

This image shows the mounting bracket fitted over the urethane bushing. The bracket was very difficult to align, so I used vise-grip pliers to squeeze the bracket close to the frame and align the bolt hole.
