REAR HUB DRIVE SPROCKET STUDS:

It has come to our attention that there have been a few complaints of the rear drive studs failing. The rear drive sprocket has a lock ring retention ring as a fail safe if the bolts do fail. The lock ring should retain the rear sprocket on the bub shaft.

The vast majority of Heistes have no detect, and we have not been able to replicate this failure in the lab, on the dyno or in abusive road testing.

Please inspect your 4 rear studs to ensure they are in proper operationg order .
Below are some tips to keep your bike in top form:

1. Alignment : Make sure your rear wheel is straight and in line with the front sprocket. If the rear axle is out of alignment, this caused additional stress.
2. Your chain should have 18-24mm of play up and down, do not tension your chain too right, this causes excessive strain.
3. Oil your chain regulary, your chain is a moving part and requires proper maintenance.
4. Inspect all drive components regurly to ensure the bike is in proper running order.

My 2011-Year Japan Model of tha Heist (250)

Verify the sprocket studs for

REAR HUB DRIVE SPROCKET STUDS issue.

My heist was using old-type studs installed.

Even if the sprocket is in a normal state, there is a lateral wobble.

And there are some gaps between a sprocket and stud bolt hubs.

and already crack and damaged my old-type hub bush.
