飲酒の警官「もう少し飲みたい」車でコンビニへ

青森県警は２５日、津軽地方の警察署に勤務していた３０歳代の男性巡査長を、道交法違反（酒気帯び運転、事故不申告）の疑いで青森区検に書類送検し、同日付で停職６か月の懲戒処分とした。巡査長は同日付で依願退職した。

発表によると、巡査長は８日夜、乗用車を酒気を帯びた状態で運転。コンビニに立ち寄った際、車と物損事故を起こしたのに、警察に申告せず立ち去った疑い。勤務中ではなかった。

　県警監察課によると、巡査長は自宅で缶ビールとチューハイ計２リットルを飲んだが、もう少し飲みたいと考え、自宅から約３キロ離れたコンビニに車で出かけた。氷を買うのを忘れ、更に２キロ離れた別のコンビニで事故を起こしたという。

　巡査長は県警の調べに対し、「飲みたいという思いに負けてしまった。大変なことをしてしまった」と話したという。県警は区検に起訴を求める「厳重処分」の意見をつけた。

Toyota’s 86 together with its Subaru BRZ sibling are arguably one (we won’t say two, since they’re identical) of the most celebrated, mainstream sports cars of our time, but they’ve been overshadowed lately. Why? Well the answer comes from within the Japanese manufacturer’s own stables: the newly-revealed Supra.


“Supra this, Supra that”, has dominated much of the automotive soundscape over the past year. Whether the chatter is through news articles, social media posts or enthusiast forums – the sheer amount of hype is deafening and has been hard to escape.

So much so, that rumors erupted of the GT86 and Subaru BRZ being axed, but fortunately, for enthusiasts and fans of RWD coupes, they proved to be wrong, as both Toyota and Subaru quickly denied them, confirming the development of a second-generation model.

While the U.S. market still has to wait a few more months to get the facelifted G90 flagship, Hyundai’s premium brand has just unveiled a stretched version for the Korean market.

Unsurprisingly, the G90 Limousine offers presidential levels of rear legroom thanks to a 290 mm (11.4 in) increase in overall length over the regular G90. All of it benefits the car’s wheelbase, and specifically rear passenger room, as evidenced by the stretch of sheet metal added between the doors as well as the longer rear doors.

Toyota’s next-generation HiAce


Toyota is promising more for the next generation HiAce van – a bigger nose, extra power for the engine and improved ride.

To be here mid-year, the all-new HiAce van will be available with two-seat vans in long (LWB) and super-long wheelbase (SLWB) configurations, five-seat LWB crew vans and 12-seat SLWB Commuter buses.

"A shift to a semi-bonneted design has enabled the development team to implement significant changes with a stiffer frame, stronger straight-line performance, greater stability and manoeuvrability and more pliant suspensions," Toyota Australia says.

The sixth-generation HiAce range will be offered with two new engines – a 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel or a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, both available with six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.

Cargo capacity has been maintained at a maximum of 6.2 (LWB) and 9.3 cubic metres (SLWB) due to longer wheelbases and clever packaging that increases internal width by 215mm and height by 5mm without altering overall exterior width.
