Nissan CEO Hiroto Saikawa resigns
Saikawa admitted to being improperly overpaid in his position and will leave his post on Sept. 16.

The revolving door that is the Nissan CEO position has swung around once again. Hiroto Saikawa will leave the CEO position on Sept. 16 after admitting he's been improperly overpaid. The controversial payments are not illegal, but they do violate company practices.

Nissan produced a statement on Saikawa's departure on Monday that said the outgoing CEO first expressed feelings that he wanted to resign. Following a board meeting, the board of directors requested he do so, to which Saikawa agreed. Reuters reports that a committee to name his successor will expedite the process following the resignation announcement.

Saikawa has only been at the top job since February 2017 after Carlos Ghosn stepped down as CEO. The executive was seen as Ghosn's hand-picked successor and had goals to introduce stronger corporate governance and right the ship as profits plunged at the automaker. The exiting CEO will also return any overpayments as he departs the automaker.

During a news conference, Saikawa reportedly took a shot at former CEO Ghosn, himself embattled in charges of financial misconduct at Nissan, and said his push to increase market share eroded Nissan's profitability. He apologized for not delivering the results he aimed for.

These rigs are built to withstand the conditions of racing across a multitude of surfaces at speeds in excess of 100 mph. Players won’t find much of the production Countryman here, these ALL4 racing MINIs are bespoke chassis and drive systems. What they will find is a thrilling driving experience that’s somewhere between a world-class rally car and Baja biggy.

The 2014 Mini X-Raid All4 Racing Countryman - abbreviated as Mini X-Raid - is a Dakar Rally race car featured in the Storm Island Expansion for Forza Horizon 2 and in all subsequent main series titles except Forza Motorsport 6

The X-Raid All4 Racing Countryman is equipped with a 3.0L (2,993 cc) twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine with a total output of 307 hp (229 kW) and 516 ft·lb (700 N·m).

The bodywork is made from carbon kevlar, while the brakes and dampers are watercooled. The transmission used is a six-speed sequentual gearbox driving all four wheels.

The Forza Horizon 3 rendition of the Countryman has its performance moved back several notches due to its top speed being severely reduced to just 95 mph (153 km/h), most likely due to the excessively tight gearing when compared to its Forza Horizon 2 rendition.
