高速隊パト、誤った速度で2年取り締まり　19人に返金

秋田県警は4日、高速隊のパトカーに搭載された速度測定メーターが、実際より速い速度が表示される状態で取り締まりをしていたと明らかにした。誤った速度で取り締まりをした違反者19人に総額13万6千円を返金するという。

交通指導課によると、高速隊十和田分駐隊のパトカー2台が、少なくとも2018年4月～昨年4月、誤った速度が表示される状態のまま東北道で取り締まりをしていた。月に一度、民間の検査場でテストしていたが、結果を隊員や幹部が確認していなかった。本部に報告する規則があったが、これも怠っていたという。今春の異動で着任した幹部が気づいて判明した。

　スピード違反は超過速度5キロごとに反則金が決められているため、19人の違反速度を1段階下げ、納付した金額との差額7千～1万円を返金する。交通指導課は「組織として確認態勢が形骸化していた」としている。
