相変わらず音楽ねたですm(_ _)m

RockだかPopsだかLatinだか良くわからず、しかも結成50周年と余りにキャリアが長すぎて一部分しか知らないのですが、ちょっと情報が目についたもので記録を残しておきます(^^;;

Carlos Santana率いるSantanaが、JournyのNeal Schonを含む70年代初期のラインナップで、1971年の「Santana III」以来45年ぶりに制作したStudio New Album「Santana IV」がリリースされます。Bandによって書かれ、Produceされた新曲16曲が収録されているそうで、海外で4月15日の発売予定です。

メンバーはCarlos Santana(Guitar,Vocal)、Gregg Rolie(Keyboard,Lead Vocal)、Neal Schon(Guitar,Vocal)、Michael Carabello(Congas)、Michael Shrieve(Drums)。また、現在のSantanaのメンバーのKarl Perazzo (Timbales)やBenny Rietveld(Bass)も参加しているそうです。

また、New Albumリリース前後にJourneyと3公演限定のSpecial Joint Liveを米国で開催予定です。Santanaのステージには特別ゲストとして「Santana IV』にも参加したGregg RolieとNeal Schonが参加するそうです。4月13日New York、15日Connecticut 、16日Pennsylvaniaで開催されます。
