Mitsubishi Retains Best 4x4 Car Derived Van of The Year
title at Prestigious What Van ? Awards 2015

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has once again won an award at the prestigious What Van? Awards further highlighting the continued success and appeal of the Outlander Commercial model in the Mitsubishi line-up.
The What Van? Awards are decided by the expert editorial panel of What Van? Magazines, calling on their combined decades of experience in the light commercial vehicle industry. The What Van? Awards seek to reward the best products, companies and services in the industry for their ability to make life easier, cleaner, safer and more efficient for light commercial vehicle operators in the UK.
For businesses that need to carry but don’t necessarily require the full capacity and capability of a truck, the Outlander Commercial does just the job. It is bristling with clever technology such as Active Stability and Traction Control (M-ASTC); Auto Stop & Go (AS&G); Hill Start Assist (HSA); and an adjustable speed limiter. Climate control and cruise control come as standard, there’s a radio/CD/MP3 player with six speakers and front electric windows. Airbags, daytime running lights, 16-inch steel wheels and cruise control also feature.
“The Mitsubishi Outlander 4Work has retained the 4x4 Van of the Year trophy thanks to the addition of pioneering plug-in technology,” said What Van? Editor Paul Barker.
“There’s nothing in the marketplace capable of combining the Outlander’s strengths, and it’s an excellent way of reducing costs and environmental impact without impacting on operational effectiveness.”
The 4x4 Car Derived Van of the Year award completes another impressive year for the Mitsubishi commercial range, with continued support from major UK Fleet customers that include the Environment Agency, BT Fleet, Highways Agency and Anglian Water.

“The Outlander Commercial is a unique proposition providing an intelligent 4WD system, ‘car-like’ driving experience, comfort for the driver and the ability to carry over 700kg in a secure load area.
