２０１６年 ４月 より 日本 からの 輸入モデル ( ＣＢＵ ) の 販売 を 開始 しましたが
先行 して ２０１７年 ９月 より マレーシア で 現地生産 を 開始 した
２．０ ℓ の ４ＷＤ モデル に 加えて
２．４ ℓ モデル も このたび 日本生産 モデル から 現地生産 モデル に 移行 しました。

New Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4L Introduced
Kuala Lumpur, 5 January 2018-
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, officially introduced the new locally-assembled Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4L SUV today. The new Outlander 2.4L will be sold alongside the locally-assembled Outlander 2.0L which was introduced in September last year.
4WD System and Performance
The new Outlander 2.4L is powered by a proven 2.4L engine with 167 PS of power and 222 Nm of torque. The DOHC MIVEC engine is paired with INVECS-III CVT transmission with paddle shifters for even better control.
With many years of winning experience in the gruelling Dakar Rally under its belt, Mitsubishi is a specialist in rugged 4WD vehicles. By improving traction on slippery surfaces and stability, 4WD plays a role in active safety – it is especially valuable on SUVs with tall bodies and a high centre of gravity.
The Outlander comes with an intelligent 4WD system as standard across the range. Unlike on-demand 4WD systems in rival SUVs, the Multi-Select 4WD system in the Outlander has three selectable modes - 4WD Eco, 4WD Auto and 4WD Lock – to suit all conditions and terrain.
Safety Features
Safety is the Outlander’s strongest suit, befitting its role as a family vehicle. Together with seven airbags, 4WD, ABS and EBD, Brake Assist, Active Stability & Traction Control (ASTC), Hill Start Assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts are standard. The SUV also boasts a strong Mitsubishi Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body construction.
In addition, the Electronic Parking Brake available in the 2.4L comes with Auto Hold Assist function that allows one to wait at the traffic light or traffic jams without the need to step on the brakes. The Brake Override System is another feature that works as a failsafe measure, prioritising the brakes if both the brake and accelerator pedals are pressed simultaneously.
Other helpful safety features include Rest Reminder, which reminds the driver to take a break when fatigue steps in. The new All Round Monitor in the Outlander 2.4L assists parking and lane-changing by providing a 360-degree bird’s eye view of the vehicle and its surroundings including blind spots on the central screen with integrated guide lines for Front, Side & Reverse view.
All Outlanders now come with a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) that captures every moment or incident while one is on the move. The Outlander also comes with security and solar film for glass surfaces for extra safety and privacy.
Premium Features
The Outlander has a stylish and bold design, thanks to Mitsubishi’s signature Dynamic Shield face. The new Outlander 2.4L comes with Full LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights in front, plus LED tail lamps to provide superior illumination and a striking look. 18-inch alloy wheels are standard across the range, while the 2.4L getting a new stylish two-tone wheel design plus an aerodynamic rear spoiler.
Within the stylish body that is spotted with a sunroof is a spacious seven-seater cabin with ample room for the entire family. The Outlander boasts best-in-class cargo volume of 1,608 litres with the second and third-row seats folded. A powered Electronic Tailgate with anti-pinch function in the Outlander 2.4L provides valuable convenience.
A 7-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay functionality allows for seamless connection between iPhone and car. The screen comes with Air Gesture Control for added convenience. Other standard equipment includes automatic headlamps and wipers, and keyless entry with push start button.
With best-in-class safety features, premium and stylish design, and a family-pleasing combination of space and versatility, the locally-assembled Mitsubishi Outlander with improved value is now ready for viewing at all Mitsubishi showrooms nationwide.
Three colours are available: Ruby Black, Red Metallic, Solar White Ruby Black is a new colour for the Mitsubishi Outlander and is available exclusively for the Malaysian market.
The new Outlander 2.4L SUV is priced at RM155, 000 on-the-road without insurance and GST inclusive. Mitsubishi Motors is currently having a Chinese New Year promotion of discounts up to RM4, 000 for the Outlander. The Outlander comes with MMM’s two years free maintenance and standard factory warranty of five years and unlimited mileage.

First Shipments of All-New Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Arrive in the UK

CIRENCESTER – In readiness for the launch of the all-new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross later this month, the first shipments of the stylish SUV have landed in the UK.
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross were unloaded at the import centre of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK at Bristol’s Royal Portbury Docks over the Christmas period, with more shipments set to dock in the following weeks.
Spanning the entry-level Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 2 to the distinctive ‘First Edition’ version that marks the model’s launch in the UK, the new SUV will soon be making its way to Mitsubishi dealerships throughout the country ahead of the first customer deliveries later this month.
The first shipments and those that are set to follow will enable Mitsubishi Motors to meet demand for the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. Since its world premiere at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the announcement of its attractive pricing and highly competitive finance packages and its availability through the brand’s Buy Online facility, interest in the all-new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has been building steadily with buyers in the UK.
Lance Bradley, Managing Director, Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: “We anticipate that the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will quickly become one of our most popular models and we are preparing to meet demand, while also ensuring that lead times are optimised for customers, whether they are purchasing at a dealership or through Mitsubishi Buy Online. With its distinctive style, high levels of equipment and impressive value, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will appeal to a whole spectrum of car buyers.”
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross offers a choice of three trim levels – 2, 3 and 4. Whilst stocks last, there is also an exclusive, highly-equipped First Edition version available that celebrates the launch of the new SUV, which is limited to a production run of only 250. From launch, all variants are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, mated to a six-speed manual (FWD only) or an all-new eight-step CVT automatic transmission (FWD and 4WD). Included in its high standard specification are Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), which uses radar technology to detect a risk of collision, and which have contributed to the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross achieving a maximum 5-star Euro NCAP rating. The range is priced from £21,275 OTR with the top-of-the range 4 version starting from £24,975 OTR.
