白川郷に行ってきた

8/27, 28で白川郷に行ってきた。高山から車だったのだが、その2週間前には平湯温泉辺りに自転車でいたので、妙な気分である。どうもこの地方の豪雪や生活に完全に合理的な造りらしいが、そもそもなぜこんな山の中で暮らそうと思ったのか分からない。

屋根の葺き替え作業の写真を見たが、村人総出である。「結」というらしい（沖縄にそんなのなかったか？）。長期的関係に基づいた暖かい家族のような付き合いがあったかもしれないが、それは息の詰まるような閉塞感と表裏一体であっただろう。こんなところで村八分をくらったら、それこそ死活問題である。良かれ悪しかれ、信頼性担保のメカニズムは、関係性から契約に移行していく気がする（または、その二極化が同時に進むか）。

Visiting Shirakawa-go on 27 and 28 of August. Driving from Takayama city I felt weird because I Hirayu hot spring 2 weeks ago on bicycle. Although the Gasho-zukuri is completely rational to the climate including heavy snow and life, I wondered why people planed to live in this such a deep mountain area.

Seeing a picture of a straw roof thatching with the corporation of all people in the village and it's called Yui(Sounds Okinawa culture). Although there could be a warm relations like a family based on long term relationship, sense of stagnation like suffocating were there and it would be a two side of the same coin. If you were ostracised, it would be dead. If it's good or not, a mechanism for credibility confirmation would be transforming from relation-based one to contract based one(or bipolarization is proceeding at the same time.).

・だんだん調べなくなってきた。
・屋根を葺くは、thatchingが出てきた。
・村八分は、ostracisedが出てきた。
・息の詰まるような閉塞感は、英語が出てこなかった。
・見返すと本当適当。日本語だけならもっとか聞くことがあるのだが、英訳がめんどいので意図的に短くなる。
