I stopped by at the pastry shop somewhere in 丹波篠山.

This shop is famous for its cream puffs.

Don’t call them シュークリーム.

It sounds like shoe cream.

Oh, sorry folks. I got no cream puff pics.

This is stir fried 枝豆.

OK I admit it looks ugly but it is much
tastier than the boiled 枝豆.

I don’t think you can really tell if this picture
shows boiled ones or pan fried ones.

Boiled or pan fried?

The traditional way of cooking is to boil.

But there is a unique way of cooking - to pan fry.

Is it edible?

If you afraid of spiders, slugs, or some worms,
you cannot pick 黒豆 at the farm.

Fortunately though there seems to be no カメムシ.
