また ９月 の 英国三菱　( Ｍｉｔｓｕｂｉｓｈｉ Ｍｏｔｏｒｓ ＵＫ )　の 販売台数 は

英国仕様 ミツビシ アウトランダー ＰＨＥＶ　の 販売好調 により

昨年 対比 で ２倍 以上 と なりました。

STRONG SALES MAKE MITSUBISHI MODELS NUMBER ONE IN THE UK

Figures released today by The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) confirm that the new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV accounted for over half of all UK plug-in vehicle sales in September.

Success of the plug-in Outlander is having a halo effect across the Mitsubishi range, as overall sales are 94 per cent up on last September. The L200 pick-up leads its market segment in September with sales up 58 percent.

Lance Bradley, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: “September was a strong month across the range, closing our third quarter with sales more than double the same period last year. There is a great feeling across the Mitsubishi network, which is quickly expanding its staff numbers, that this will be a special year”.

The Outlander PHEV uses both electric and petrol power. Unlike non plug-in hybrid vehicles, the Outlander PHEV can travel substantially further on battery power – 32.5 miles - more than enough to accommodate most daily average journey distances. As such it rarely needs to visit a petrol pump. The impressive electric range gives the vehicle significant environmental credentials. It emits just 44g/km of CO2 and the official combined fuel consumption figure is 148mpg. The vehicle is exempt from road tax, London Congestion Charge and qualifies for the Government’s £5,000 Plug-in Car Grant. For company car drivers Outlander PHEV attracts just 5% taxable benefit in kind, saving £8,216 over three years compared to a similar size 4x4 SUV.

The Mitsubishi L200 has consistently been one of the UK’s best selling pick-up trucks, and a frequent award winner.
