岐阜県大垣市の赤坂町に行ってきました。
I visited akasaka town in ogaki city fo gifu prefecture.


ここは、『赤坂宿』で有名で、いろいろな史跡が集まる、歴史的な趣のある観光地です。

This town is famouse by "Akasaka inns" and there are so kind of historical place .
There is histolical atmosphere .

今回は、その中からひとつ、『兜塚』を紹介します。
I introduct the one "Armor's mound"from this town this time .







町のいたるところに、このような看板がありました。
There are many this signs throughout this town.

兜塚は、このマップの左下の方にあります。
There is armor's mound at left down on this map .








関ヶ原の戦いの前日、杭瀬川の戦いというのがありました。
There was "The battle of Kuise river" the before day of the Sekigahara battle .
They were west armys.
West armys's lider was Mitsunari Ishida.

島左近や明石全登らが勝利した戦いです。


Sakon Shima and Teruzumi Akashi won this battle .

ここ塚の下には、その戦いで破れた東軍の戦国武将、野一色　頼母（のいっしき　たのも）をほおむり、一緒に彼の兜が埋められているそうです。 Sengoku samurai who name is Tanomo Noisshiki was buried under this mound.
He was east army .
His lider was Ieyasu Tokugawa .
There was his armor in this mound .
So this mound is called "Armor's mound".


彼は、豪腕のツワモノだったそうです。He was strong samurai.

ここは、中山道に面した小さな丘で、車や人の往来の多い所です。

This mond front to old highway "Naka Sen Do".
Many cars and people come and go at here .
This mond is small.


すでに廃線になっている、線路の踏み切り跡の、すぐ隣にありました。
There is train's old rale at next to here.




入り口 Enterance




ここは、関ヶ原の合戦地から、約１０キロほど東にあります。
Here is about ten kilomater east from the battle field of Sekigahara .

塚の周りには、木々が生い茂っており、枝や葉っぱが屋根のようになって、塚を雨風から守っているように見えました。
Trees overgrown around mound , it look like roos .
It seem guard from wind and rain .



兜塚 Armor mound




夕方ということもあり、ちょうど石碑の向こうの木々の間から夕日が差し込んでおり、美しくも感じられました。


It was early in the evening , evening sunlight flooded stone monument from over opening trees. I felt beautiful .

Kabuto Zuka Noisshiki Shi

と書かれているのが分かります。

It was written so .



Kabuto means armor, Zuka means mound



４１０年前の戦国武将の魂が、今もココで息づいているような気がしました。

I felt that spilit of sengoku samurai before 410 years ago live at here .
