Subaru cars were not well-known in the UK until the Group A Impreza started winning a lot of rallies. After that, they were so popular people would import used models directly from Japan, usually the WRX or WRX STi. Even the police started to buy them to use as pursuit cars.

I`ve heard of that a bit.

As you know,in the late 90`s and early 00`s,Mitsubisi Evo and Subaru Impreza wom many rallies.
Both has been more popular because of rally such as WRC among enthusiasts even here.
I`m in the right place.
We can bought them about within 500000yen even at that time.

How awful police it is!
I`ve heard that the police in French use Evo in order to pursuit automobiles.
Anyway watch out such police cars!
