世に和製英語というものがある。
しかし、イングランドにおける英語ですら、地域や階層によって、或いは時代によって異なるのだから、和製英語自体はどうしても生まれてしまうものだと思う。

ことは英語でなくともよい。
だいたい、チャイナの言葉を借用しなければ、漢語的概念を表現することは不可能であったし、明治維新後も「経済」という単語に代表されるように漢語だからこそ概念的なものを簡潔に表すことができた。土着の和語ではこうはいかない。
ちなみに、経済という言葉は面白いことに、日本で発明され、現在では、漢字発祥の土地で使用されている。
余談だが、インプに使っている空気圧センサーも送られてきたジャガーのぬいぐるみも中国製である。



もう一点。pantsという単語がある。イギリスでは日本と同じ意味だが、アメリカではズボンという意味になる。米英間だけでもかなりの違いがある。もうそれは、スバル1000とレガシィくらいに異なっている。

テンションという言葉が、気持ちが高揚するという意味を付与されたのはいつ頃だろう。昭和時代ではない。平成後期からと思われる。
どのような経緯でなったのだろう。
tensionとはピシッと張り詰めている状態を指し、緊張とも訳される。
さらに気持ちが昂ぶるハイテンション（high tension)の本来の意味は、ぶったまげるほかない。高電圧という意味になる。

よって、「オレ、いますげーハイテンション！」をベタ訳すると、「おれは、いま、ものすごく高電圧！」という訳の分からないことになるので要注意（笑）
スバルブラットの荷室にある座席ばりに、ぶっ飛んでいる。ローレルスピリットばりに本家と乖離している、かもしれない（笑）

というわけで、基本的には和製英語は許容するものの、紛らわしい意味になっているので気をつけましょう（笑）
ちなみに、ハイテンションを英語でいうとenergeticやfull of energyだと思います。メイビー（←この単語も英米で使うときは注意）。

なんとなくクリスタルではなく、なんとなく英語表現ブログでした。クルマのことを書こうと思ったのだけれど、テンションが上がらなかった（笑）

In anciant Japan,deer was sometimes regarded as a saint animal althogh almost people don't know it now.
That's why,you can see lots of relaxing deer in some old Japanese Shinto shrines.













Take a look at the top pic. Yep,deer is walking across the zebra!
You can see it in Nara which was old capital in Japan.

On the other hand,we eat meat of deer especially in mountain country areas. That's amazing.

By the way,I'm in Daikoku but it's raining(not sprinkling)and I'm bored(not boring lol). That's why,I wrote this article.

The sky is cleared up here in Tokyo.
I feel like driving on some passes.
I`m afraid that much snow has been still left there.

I visited one of my friends` house in which a home party will be held in today`s afternoon.
I would have some drink in it so I may just watch amazing cars crossing on roads.
That`s why,I would get on some trains and then gaze at cars over the windows lol
Oops,I need to use subways...

On Sunday I`ll drive and head to the meeting place for old school cars.
I can`t wait to visit there.

Today is Chinese New Year Day.
But,to my regret,nobody celebrate it here in Japan now.
We use to,though.
I`d love to set off firecrackers like Chinese,Taiwanese and other South Asian people.
No doubt I could enjoy doing it,haha.
If I did such a thing here,I might be mistaken for militants.
