昨日は MICHELIN FRANCE のサイトを覗いて得た情報を基に記事を書きました。

安易な構成だなぁと思いつつも、今回も同webサイトのキャプチャーで構成した記事を書きます。

内容はタイトルどおりで、ひねりは全くありません。登場する車種のオーナーの方には既知の情報で新鮮味はないかもしれませんが・・・。

『なぜ、Kangoo を載せないの？』と訝る方がいらっしゃるかもしれません。日本市場で主力となった Kangoo Ph2 1.6 16V（タイヤサイズ 175/65R14） はフランス本国ではカタログ外のモデルです。変わりに1.4 のモデルを選んでしまうとタイヤサイズは変わってしまいます（165/70R14）。このため掲載を控えました。ちなみに1.6 16V 搭載のカタログモデルは Kangoo 4x4 にしかありません。 

私個人の一番の注目点は Mégane II 2.0 16V のリコメンドが、Primacy 3 の “205/55R16 91V” である点です。日本市場で販売されている Primacy 3 は同じサイズでも “速度レンジ” が違います（“205/55R16 91W” ）。

久しぶりにエンジンオイル以外の話題です（笑）。

MICHELIN は Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 で PILOT SPORT 4 を発表しましたネ。欧州市場では2016年1月から発売されるようです。

現行モデルのPS3 が発表された時には、PS2の後継なのかどうかが取り沙汰されたような記憶があります。今ではPS3 は PE2 の後継ととして定着しています。

それでは、PS4 は PS3 の後継なのでしょうか？

本国フランスのサイトを覗いてみることにします。


【PILOT SPORT 4 のサイズ展開】

サイズ展開は17種類と随分少ないです。PS3 のサイズ展開を調べようとしましたが、すでにフランスのサイトではPS3 はディスコン扱いのようです。

さらに、車種別に検索してみることにします。

5つ6つのモデルで見た限りでは PS3 の名前が一切出てきません。このことから PS4 は PS3 の後継と言えそうです。

《11/12 21:58 追記》また、一部サイズに記載のある “EUラベリング” を見ると “転がり抵抗” が “C” となっています。このことから、PS4 は Primacy 3 に近づけたプロダクトとも言えそうです《追記ここまで》。

一方、これまで PS3 ではサイズ展開のあった15"、16" はどうなってしまうのでしょうか？　ちょっと心配なので調べてみました。

どうやらサイズ限定のようですが、 PS3 の併売もあるようです。


【最後に一言】
日本市場での PS3 は2010年の発売以来とても人気があり、プレミアムコンフォート系に振るか、スポーティ（敢えてスポーツとは呼びません）系に振るかで迷うヒトにとって必ず候補に上がる銘柄ですネ。

私の場合も次期タイヤを Primacy3 にするか、 PS3 にするか、つい最近まで悩んでいました。ちなみに私の愛車は メガーヌ II MF4M（6速MT）です。

メガーヌ II に適合するサイズは 205/55R16 ですが、 PS4の発売後も併売モデルとして残るかどうかは疑問なところです。このサイズのPS3 がお気に入りの方はディスコンになる可能性を頭の片隅に置いておいたほうが良いかもしれません。

タイヤ選びの情報源はひとつだけでは片手落ちです。私が2番目に参考にしている情報源があります。

それはドイツのAutoBild（アウト・ビルト）誌です。こちらもオリジナルはドイツ語ですので、私は tyrereviews.co.uk の翻訳記事（英語）でチェックするようにしています。







2011 Autobild Max Performance Summer Tyre Test
ADAC の 2010 European Summer Tyre Test が 225/45R17 サイズであったのに対し、こちらは 225/40R18 サイズでのテストです。Golf GTI、Focus ST、Audi S3 等の適合サイズですので、やはりADACのテストとは大きく異なるランキング結果でした。タイヤ名の色付けは前回記事中の画像のタイヤ名の枠色と揃えました。

2015 Auto Bild 215/55 R16 Technical Tyre Test
ADAC の 2015 European Tyre Test が 205/55R16 であったのに対し、こちらは 215/55R16 で、どちらのテストもサイズはほぼ同一です。しかし、ADACのテストとは微妙に異なるランキング結果でした。

最後に一言。
みんカラユーザーの Uno75さんが、2012年03月01日に “ドイツAutoBild誌のタイヤ50銘柄テスト-制動距離比較” という記事を書かれていました。こちらはドライ＆ウェットでの制動距離の短さでランキングされているので、安全性能をイメージしやすく、おすすめの記事です。

タイヤ選びといっても試乗ができるわけではないので、ネットでの情報のみが頼りです。

前回の記事では、情報源として“価格コム” の “クチコミ掲示板” に少しだけ触れましたが、実は私が本命にしている情報源があります。

日本では第三者機関がコンスタントにタイヤの性能テストをし、結果データを積極的に公表するという土壌がありません。しかし海外では状況が一変します。

欧州のタイヤ市場ではADAC（アーデーアーツェー）、つまりドイツ自動車連盟の実施するタイヤテストの影響力が非常に大きいらしいのです。言葉をかえれば、それだけ信頼を得るに足るテストを実施しているということです。

そこでドイツ語がさっぱりダメな私は tyrereviews.co.uk の翻訳記事（英語）でチェックするようにしています。

前回の記事ではタイヤの具体的な評価については触れませんでしたが、今回、ここから入手したADACの具体的なテストデータを紹介します。


2010 European Summer Tyre Test
ピンク色で囲んだのが候補の2製品です。ただし、厳密にいえばタイヤサイズが異なりますし、Dunlopは後継モデルでの評価です。また、日本市場では価格が高いため候補から外しましたが、欧州では比較対象に上る2製品をブルー枠で囲みました。


タイヤサイズが変われば評価も変わってきます。



2015 European Tyre Test 205/55 R16
2010年のテストがパッセンジャーカー用のパフォーマンスを重視したタイヤテストであったのに対し、2015年のテストはパッセンジャーカー用のECO性能を重視したタイヤテスト（Rolling Resistance）になっています。19製品中15位までのテストデータを抜粋します。

いかがでしたでしょうか。


最後にちょっと。
2015年のタイヤテストは総合点のみが順位の基準ではないので、注意が必要です。例えば、日本市場でも人気が高い “Michelin Energy Saver Plus” は総合点で判断すれば3位です。ところが、Wet 性能が 5.6、Overall が 5.6 とライバル製品に比べて低いのが順位を下げた理由のようです。

ここから先は難しい判断になりますが、クルマによって、また、オーナーの使用状況によって、最適なマッチングのタイヤは異なってきます。

もし、あなたがメルセデス、BMW、Audi 車のオーナーであり、且つクルマのポテンシャルを最大限に引き出したいのであれば、素直に認証タイヤを選ぶのが間違いのないタイヤ選びかもしれません。
