この日は、姫路市は旧夢前町と旧安富町の境にある雪彦山に登りました。
岩場が多く、少しハードですが、なかなか登りごたえのある山です。
新潟県の弥彦山、福岡県と大分県の境にある英彦山と共に日本三彦山として知られ、日本百景、ひょうごの森百選、兵庫50山、近畿100名山に選定されています。
大天井岳（おおてんじょうだけ）、不行岳（いかずだけ）、三峰岳（さんぽうだけ）、地蔵岳の4峰からなる標高811mの洞ヶ岳（ほらがたけ）、標高950mで最高峰の鉾立山、そして国土地理院の地形図で雪彦山と記される三辻山（みつじやま）を併せた総称です。三辻山に二等三角点があります。
岩場が多く、ロッククライミングの名所としても知られています。

姫路城西御屋敷跡庭園｢好古園」は、姫路市制百周年を記念して造営され、平成4（1992）年に開園した池泉回遊式の日本庭園です。
好古園の敷地は、昭和60（1985）年以来の発掘調査で確認された西御屋敷跡・武家屋敷跡等にあります。｢好古園」の愛称は、姫路藩主酒井家によってこの庭園の入り口付近に移設され、文武両道の再興を図った藩校｢好古堂」に因んでいます。
姫路城を借景にし、四季折々の美しさがある庭園です。平成に造営された庭園だけあり、バリアフリーにも比較的配慮されています。美しい庭園を見ながら、茶室でお抹茶をいただけるほか（別料金）、活水軒では喫茶、食事も楽しめます。

姫路城は、平成の大修理中ですが、大天守の修理がほぼ完成したとのことで再び大天守修理見学施設「天空の白鷺」を訪れました。

前回見たのは平成24年1月28日です。前回からはかなり工事が進んだのがわかります。↓

屋根工事や左官工事などの本体工事は11月末で完成です。
工事の様子をガラス越しに見ることができる施設「天空の白鷺」は、年明けの平成26年1月15日に閉館します。
素屋根の解体は平成26年度いおこなわれ、8月から9月には天守の姿を見ることできるようになり、一般公開は平成27年3月27日を予定しているとのことです。
天空の白鷺から復活した白亜の姿を少しだけ今回見ることできました。

みたらい渓谷は、大峰山系から流れる山上川が造り上げた渓谷です。
みたらいの名は南朝の帝がミソギをしたと（御手洗）いう伝説がもとになっているといわれています。
エメラルドグリーンの豊富な水量の渓流に、巨岩・奇岩ががあり、みたらい滝、光滝など豪快な滝があります。
楓類のほかクヌギ、ドウダンツツジなどの紅葉も美しい渓谷です。

帰りに、丹生川上神社下社に参拝しました。
丹生川上神社は、上社は奈良県吉野郡川上村、中社は吉野郡東吉野村にあり、下社は吉野郡下市町にあります。
下社は、式内社・丹生川上神社に比定されている大社で二十二社の第二十一位として朝廷の崇敬を集めました。
京都の貴布禰神社と共に祈雨、止雨の神として祈雨時には黒馬、祈晴時に白馬を奉納されました。
しかしながら、応仁の乱以後は衰微して、式内社・丹生川上神社の所在は不明となっていました。
明治4（1871）年、当社・丹生大明神社と称していた当社をを官幣大社丹生川上神社としましたが、寛平7（895）年太政官符に記す四至に、丹生川上雨師神社の境界として「東限 塩匂　南限　大山峯　西限　板波瀧　北限　猪鼻瀧」とあり、下社が、この四至に適合しないとして、高靇神社（現上社）を式内社とすべきとする「大日本史」に従い、明治7（1873）年、当社（下社）を口の宮、高靇神社（上社）を奥の宮としました。
しかし、明治29（1896）年、当社を下社、高靇神社を上社としました。
さらに東吉野村の蟻通神社が、社辺の高見川を古代の丹生川であるとして請願され、大正11（1922）年、蟻通神社を中社と認定し、中社祭神を罔象女神、上社祭神を罔象女神から高靇神へ、下社祭神は高靇神から闇靇神へ改められました。

この日は、紅葉の写真撮影へ。
最初は観音峯（観音峰）に登山です。
観音峯（観音峰）は、標高1,347m、大峰山脈の前衛峰です。
山頂はあまり眺望はよくありませんが、ススキの広がる展望台は標高1,285m、正面に稲村ヶ岳や大日山、南に大峯奥駈道から弥山・八経ヶ岳など素晴らしい眺望の山です。
観音峯の名は、後村上天皇が吉野から天川に落ちのびられたときに、観音の岩屋にこもられた一夜の夢に十一面観世音が現れて河合寺が安住の場所とのお告げを受けられました。
爾来、この観世音を守り本尊としてご信仰になり、この山を観音峯と名付けられました。
観音峯登山口からコース沿いに南朝と天川村との関わりを示したレリーフが整備されており、頂上直下の観音の岩屋は、北朝方の襲来のおり長慶天皇、煕成親王（後亀山天皇）など南朝の皇族が一時避難された場所とされています。
